Why Grey Iris? In shades of grey, I see color. Because life does not come in absolute whites or blacks. Emotions add color to the greyscale of life. And that is what we at Grey Iris Photography intend to capture - colors of life sandwiched between shades of grey. This desire to encapsulate the beauty of life drives the composition of my images - the arty aspect of photography. Light plays an important role in photography - in fact the technical side of photography is all about mastering how much and what kind of light do you want your pictures to have. Iris in human eye controls our exposure to the outside world - in a way we see the world in light or dark because of Iris. Tech Speak: Middle grey (18% reflectance) is the worldwide standard for calibrating light meters in cameras. Summarily, Grey Iris is my effort to present to you my perspective of the world as I see it. I love travel, and enjoy photography the most when I am in the midst of nature, more specifically in the mountains. I take candid photography assignments, be it fashion / portfolio, pre-wedding, wedding, birthday parties & events. I relish capturing dramatics on the stage. I also do product photography, and am looking forward to ‘formally’ undertake food photography.
