I am Ekta Sodhi, Born and brought up in Punjab. I completed my grads and post grads in Computers.

I initiated my career as a Research asssistant with the Central forensic science laboratory, Chandigarh but could not resist my passion for acting so quit my job and entered the field of acting. Started my journey with joining theatre group in Chandigarh. With no professional degree or course certificates, I have learned from the characters I performed so far and they are proving to be professional certificates for me.
Its worth mentioning the kind of project I have been a part of. To start with, a number of theatre productions like "useless beauty", "Dilli road te ik hadsa", "jivit ya mrit", "Do kabrein", to name a few. A couple of short films, ad films, telefilms in Hindi as well as Punjabi. Some other projects to be named are one is a documentary/short film on “Amrita pritam’s” life titled “main tumhe phir milungi”, other is a feature film titled “Ranj” had a wonderful festive run throughout the word and got appreciated which is yet to be released for audience beyond festivals and one web series titled “ik si kisan” released recently on Whitehills productions official channel and some ptc box office films, titled ‘mitti di khushboo’ and ‘girdh’, all as main lead/female protagonist.

Completed the shoot with Netflix for a web series titled ‘Kohra’. Recent releases include one short series on whitehills productions Channel tittle “Ik si kisaan” and one theatre release feature film titled “Ranj- slow burn” Looking forward for a wonderful journey ahead.....
