This short film titled 'Chikati' (Tenacity) is about a 12-year boy whose father leaves him and his grandfather alone as he is unable to repay the amount taken from a moneylender as a loan. This boy Gopal thinks that his father would come back once the loan is cleared, so he starts working in farms and sells items such as mint leaves, lemons, ladysfinger etc. From the money earned they buy a small goat to which Gopal takes care of. The goat grows up in few years and Gopal gets enough money from them and he clears the loan. The loan is cleared, grandpa is happy But Gopal is still in a hope that his father will come.
