About me

Sarthak is a film buff. He is the owner and Creative Director of Mahakaal Productions, a Delhi based production company.

His first short film ‘Durga- Story of a Journalist’, a film on women empowerment, won many accolades at International Film festivals. He shot and edited a short documentary on Diabetes and Hypertension, which was showcased at an international conference in Brazil.

His second short film, ‘Hello! Zindagi’, depicting the ill effects of mobile usage was appreciated and selected at international film festivals. He later designed a coffee table book on ‘Health System Strengthening Project’ for UNICEF, PHFI, National Health Mission and Chhattisgarh Government.

His second documentary ‘H.S. Dosi- Staying Young at 88’, was an inspirational story of a 90 year old man, was meant to promote health awareness and sportsman spirit amongst the youth of the country. This film was bestowed upon with The Best Director, Best Film, Best Young Filmmaker Award etc. at international film festivals in Italy, Nigeria, United Kingdom to name a few.

Sarthak went on from there to work as the Chief Editor on a web series for Amazon Prime. Being a versatile person, Sarthak has directed many ad films as well. He has also worked on many videos for Niti Aayog (Planning Commission) & Aviation Ministry.

In the past few years Sarthak has directed documentaries and ad films for various brands and organisations including WHO, UNICEF, AFD, GIZ, Reckitt, imfa, Tetrapack to name a few.
