A graduate of English literature, from Manipur University, Imphal. He is an alumnus of National School of Drama (NSD), Delhi with specialization in Theatre Techniques & Designs in the year 2014. Trained in folk and traditional forms of Manipur, he has got five years training of Manipuri Martial Arts. He has also worked at Panthoibi Natya Mandir, Imphal repertory and, also at Kanglei Mime Theatre Repertory, Imphal in several capacities of an artist. He has worked with eminent national and international theatre directors and choreographers. During the course of National School of Drama, he assisted with prominent theatre directors namely- Smt. Tripurari Sharma (Asst. as Stage Manager), Robin Das (Asst. as Sound & Music designer), Abhilash Pillai (Asst. as Lighting Designer), Santanu Bose (Asst. as Set Designer), Ovlyakulikhodjkuli (Asst. as Poster & Brochure), Dinesh Khanna (Asst. as Costume Designer), etc.

He has participated in International Mime festival at Seoul, South Korea in 2006, and International Mime and Puppet festival at Kilkis, Greece in 2007, Surin international folklore festival at Surin, Thailand in 2009, 2010, 2011. And, he has also participated in various National Theatre & Dance festivals.
His play “Basket of Dolls” performed at International theatre festival of India in 2015 (BRM). His play “Hojang Taret” performed at International theatre festival of India in 2017 (BRM). He has directed plays like The Unchain, Thief, Eta Thoume, Blood, Phoenician Women at Bhopal, Basket of Dolls, Saleeb at Jaipur, Bloodspot, Hojang Taret and mime plays. He completed his fellowship of NSD under the topic (Rituals-Demonstrations-Combats of Manipuri Martial Arts).
Recently his play HOJANG TARET has been selected for the 8th Theatre Olympics 2018.
And also selected for the Mahindra Excellence in Theatre Awards 2018.
