Ziaullah Khan's directorial venture Viraam, an intense love story with a message was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. The film was subsequently released in the theatres on 1st December 2017. Earlier, Ziaullah had made directorial debut with a rib-tickling comedy starring Raghubir Yadav which was not released due to differences between the producers. Trained under the tutelage of famous theatre personality Barry John, he started his career as a former theatre and TV actor. He has also written and directed more than 50 ad films.
