Arpan Mukherjee, a keyboardist/ pianist / music director, arranger and producer from Delhi, has completed his Sangeet Visharad in vocal music and Keyboards from Pracheen Kala Kendra,Chandigarh under the able guidance of Guru Jhumur Bhattacharya(vocals) and Guru Jagannath Ghoshal (instrumental) and further he pursued his piano grades from Trinity College Of London to explore the Western Music field more deeply. He started his musical carrier at a very young age. At the age of thirteen his works were appreciated and applauded by International artists like Grammy Award winner vocalist Al Jarreau, guitarist Earl Klugh, pianist and composer George Duke and Saxophonist Ravi Coltrane. The artist has performed in various musical events, concerts and festivals in Delhi as well as in different parts of India and abroad. He has performed with different groups, Bands, artist and singers in various prestigious places and concerts like Kamani Auditorium, Triveni Kala Sangam, CCRT Auditorium, India Habitat Center, Meghdoot Auditorium, Indian Islamic Center, Rabindra Bhavan, Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Satya Sai Auditorium, India International Centre, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium for Bollywood Music Project, Nehru Centre(Gwalior), Nazrul Manch (Kolkata), PL Deshpande Maharashtra Kala Academy (Mumbai) and the list goes on. He has performed for generating funds for Tsunami victims along with reputed foreign artists and well known Indian artist like Smt. Kavitha Krishnamurthy & L. Subramaniam. He has also shared stage with high-profile artists of Bengal like Shree Soumitra Chatterejee, Smt.Banashree Sengupta, Smt.Brototi Bandopadhyay etc. Arpan is already being acknowledged by his students, juniors, contemporaries as well as seniors for his works in music. Currently, he is working in Mamta Modern School, as Western and Instrumental Music teacher and as a freelancer in Delhi with many established musicians. He is also the founder and director of the renowned production house “WAVES MUSICAL PRODUCTION” and his classical contemporary band WAVES which has been performing consistently all over India for past 12 years in prestigious concerts like UTSAV, Spandan Fest, Malhar Fest etc. Working as an Independent music producer, the artist has produced many tracks and background scores for short films, feature films, documentaries, regional films and web series for T-Series, Doordarshan, Prasar Bharati, AIR(All India Radio), Sony and Zee Music. Working with many upcoming artists of India, Arpan is aiming to make a mark in this vast ocean of music as a music director, producer and arranger by associating them with his works in his albums viz- Eternal Resonance, Albela Sajan, Reverence, Ramkrishnayan, Tagore and Us etc. With more than 800 performances all over India and abroad under his belt and experimenting with all genres of music like classical, semi classical, folk, Western, contemporary Arpan also feels that “music has neither any boundary nor does it have a definite horizon. More you travel through the tranquility of different musical vibes, more you are circumscribed by eternal bliss.”
