Divya Venugopal, is a Mumbai based Singer-Songwriter, associated with Flying Carpet Productions.

Nominee of the 5th Artist Aloud Music Award for the Best Female Singer Category and Runner-Up of MTV Asia's Project Aloft Star Competition; she gave her first stage performance at the tender age of 2 years, and has been learning music and performing since then. She has trained in Hindustani Classical Music under Padmabhushan Ustad Gulam Mustafa Khan Sahab and also by Mrs. Aarti Nair & Mrs. Vasundhara Okhde; and she has also trained under Mr. Vikas Bhatawdekar in Light music.

She has traveled around the country and abroad for performing with the great Anandji (from Kalyanji-Anandji fame) in his show called Anandji's Little Stars. She has performed with her group BHAKTI for a wide range of audience at notable venues, including the Sirifort Auditorium. She also performed independently for corporates and other organisations like Lions Club, etc. She has performed with Mr. Vikram Hazra (eminent singer in the world of devotional music and senior faculty with the Art of Living) for Kumarmangalam Birla at the Birla House and Mukesh Ambani at their famous residence Antalia, many other Who's Who of the country.

She also sang for Legendary Music Director Naushad on his 86th birthday celebration (shortly before him passing away) where she received the most valued comment/ praise on her singing “I have heard someone sing this song so well for the first time after Lata”- Naushad

She has participated and won many TV show and competitions including Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Kya Masti Kya Dhuum, Aao Jhoomein Gaayein and Mini Superstars.

She represented the Mumbai University at the Inter University Youth Festival at State, Zonal and National Level for the singing competition and won the same. She was also awarded the “State Best Performer award” in the year 2004-05, and has won many more such prestigious awards and accolades during her school and college years.

She has previously given her voice for a few ads like Priya Gold Biscuits, Aayuri (a brand of herbal products in Uk), Kwality Walls and also for a bank at Gulf called “Kabul Bank” . She has also given her voice for a song in a Malayalam Film called “Ithu Nammude Katha” .


She has written and composed many songs, one of which has featured in an album named ‘Guru Saath Ho’ for the Art of Living Foundation which is available in the Art of living store.
